Spectrum Attenuation at Depth

Although my project is largely undecided, I have found certain machinery and specific data collection procedures of particular interest.  I will aid Stephanie Harrington, scientific support for the cruise, in collecting photometric data for Dr. Miles Logsdon, head of the University of Washington Spatial Analysis Lab.  We will be taking light spectrum measurements at the surface as well as underwater in an effort to evaluate full spectrum attenuation at depth.  Dr. Logsdon will use these records in his studies of remote sensing.  I will also be analyzing the imagery collected via the TowCam.
