Toby Mcleod

I am beginning my fourth year as an oceanography undergraduate student at the University of Washington. I’ve worked in a few labs, including at the NOAA West Regional Center researching hydrothermal vents and at the Fisheries Teaching and Research Center for the University analyzing enclosed and semi-enclosed ecosystems. I have also been on two study abroad classes to Brazil and the Galapagos Islands where I studied chemistry and management of marine resources respectively. Each year since high school, I have volunteered at the state Ocean Bowl competition held annually at the South Campus Center on the UW campus as an official interacting with high school students. I look forward to developing my experience in work, research, and exploration of the natural world.
