Hydrate Ridge (highlighted in red) on the continental shelf will be the site of secondary and experimental nodes on the Regional Scale Nodes. Power and communication connections will come from the primary node located on the flat lying abyssal plain to the west. The black lines outline the area surveyed using the EM300, prior to the Sentry and TowCam deployments. the white dotted lines indicate likely cable routes.
